Moonlight Peaks Ingredients Database

Your guide to the materials you'll forage and farm in Moonlight Peaks. We list what's confirmed so far — more materials will be added as they're confirmed, no guesswork. Materials in Moonlight Peaks fall into two broad categories: foraged finds gathered from the world under moonlight, and livestock products obtained from magical animals on your homestead. Both feed into potion brewing and crafting workflows, but the full recipe database is not published yet. Until then, use the crafting guide for machine build chains (Refiner → Furnace → Keg) and the potion finder to reverse-match ingredients you already own to published potion rows.

Fast Answer

Right now there are two materials we're sure about: Glow Moss, a glowing plant you'll forage, and Mystical Livestock Products from your magical animals — both straight from the official site and Steam. More ingredients will be added as they're confirmed; use the crafting guide and potion finder meanwhile. Confirmed materials feed into the crafting chain: Glow Moss is a foraged plant that may appear in potion recipes or crafting stations, while Mystical Livestock Products come from your barn animals (Cow-culas, Draculambs, and others per community guides). Neither material has a published stack size, sell price, or spawn location — we list only what official sources confirm. Community guides mention additional materials like Wood, Stone, Copper Ore, Iron Ore, Fiber, Conch Shells, and Livestock Eggs, but these are community-reported names that may change at retail — we do not publish them as confirmed until verified in-game. If you spot a material in-game that is not on this list, report it via /help#report and we will cross-check before adding.

Right now there are two confirmed materials here. We'll add more — plus how they're used in recipes — as data is confirmed. Use the crafting guide and potion finder meanwhile. See something off? Tell us via /help#report.

Official Fact Check

Glow Moss and Mystical Livestock Products both come straight from the official site and Steam, so you can trust them. Other details — stack sizes, prices, where things spawn — just haven't been shared yet, and we won't guess. We'll add that data when it's confirmed.

Database FAQ

Why no stack sizes or prices yet?

Stack limits and prices haven't been published yet, so we're not making them up. We'll add that data when it's confirmed — use the crafting guide meanwhile. The crafting guide covers the Refiner → Furnace → Keg machine chain and which materials each station processes, but does not list per-item sell prices or stack caps.

Can I find potions by ingredient?

The potion finder can match ingredients to recipes, but most recipes aren't public yet — so it'll fill in over time. The potions hub lists 6+ known potion records, but ingredient arrays are empty until confirmed. When recipe data is published, this hub and the potion finder will both update. Potion finder

What's the difference between Glow Moss and Mystical Livestock Products?

Glow Moss is a glowing plant you forage out in the world. Mystical Livestock Products come from your magical animals on the farm. Different sources, different uses. Glow Moss likely feeds into potion brewing given its magical properties, while Mystical Livestock Products may serve crafting or cooking recipes — but neither use case is confirmed in official copy yet. Glow Moss

How do ingredients relate to crops?

Crops like enchanted plants and glowing flowers live on /crops. This page covers foraged finds and animal products — check both to see the full picture. Crops are planted and harvested on your farm under moonlight, while ingredients here are either gathered from the world (foraging) or produced by livestock. Some crops may double as crafting ingredients when processed through a Keg or Refiner, but that overlap is not confirmed per-item yet. Crops database

Why is the list so short right now?

We only list materials we can confirm from reference links. For now that's two — more will be added as they're confirmed, no guesswork. Community guides mention Wood, Stone, Copper Ore, Iron Ore, Fiber, Conch Shells, and Livestock Eggs, but these are community-reported names from preview builds. The crafting guide references some of these materials in machine build costs (e.g., 20× Wood for a Keg), but we do not list them as standalone ingredient entries until verified in the retail build.

Where do I forage Glow Moss?

Glow Moss is a glowing plant found in the world under moonlight — official copy confirms it exists but does not specify spawn locations or biomes. Community guides suggest foraging spots near caves or water sources, but we do not publish specific coordinates without in-game verification. The foraging guide covers general dig spots and night gathering routes. Foraging guide

How do I get Mystical Livestock Products?

Mystical Livestock Products come from magical animals on your homestead — Cow-culas, Draculambs, and other supernatural livestock per community guides. The ranching guide covers barn construction, animal feed, and the compost loop, but does not publish per-animal product names or yields. Once in-game product names are confirmed, they will be added here. Ranching guide

Are ingredients used in cooking?

No independent cooking system is confirmed at launch — potions hold the alchemical crafting slot for now. Community guides mention a cooking guide with recipe unlock paths, but ingredient-to-recipe mappings are not published. If a cooking system surfaces post-launch, ingredients listed here may appear in cooking recipes as well as potion recipes. Cooking guide

Can I sell ingredients to Chester?

Chester collects items overnight to sell — the money guide covers the selling workflow. However, ingredient sell prices are not published, so we cannot confirm whether raw ingredients are worth selling or better used in crafting. Community guides suggest processing materials through machines (Refiner, Keg) before selling for better returns, but per-item margins are unconfirmed. Money guide
