French is not supported at launch. Spanish, Italian, Russian, Portuguese are also absent from the confirmed list. Steam and Nintendo eShop both list 6 languages only. Steam community threads request French support pre-launch (reported). No post-launch language patches announced. We'll update if Marvelous or Little Chicken confirms additional localizations.
Co-op & multiplayer
Steam feature tags list single-player only — online co-op with friends hasn't been announced pre-launch. Official marketing emphasizes befriending and romancing locals in a solo life-sim.
Pet companions are not multiplayer. moonlightpeaks.com Mystical Livestock names Hellkitten; PCGamesN's PAX preview notes a three-eyed cat companion — that is a homestead pet lane, not couch or online co-op. Do not confuse petting a cat with playing co-op with a friend.
